DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION OF YOUR ITEMS

Some of the items we are selling are very old and have had many years of use and abuse. Many are not in perfect condition. The items are all sold in an AS-IS condition and they are in the same condition as they were when we purchased them. Cleaning of some antiques like coins will harm the item and also decrease its value. We have tried to accurately describe each item and mention any flaws or defects it might have such as scratches, scuffs, chips, cracks, stains, discolorations, rust, tears or folds, or even slight wear marks on the items or on their boxes. We also include a picture with every item so that you can judge it for yourself.  

Please read the description very thoroughly before you purchase the item and if you do have any questions, please feel free to email me with them and I will reply, and I will do the best I can to answer them.

INSURANCE

 We have decided to insure all breakable and fragile items we sell. I am sure that the Postal Service and UPS try very hard, but things do get damaged in shipping now and then, and we want your item to arrive at your door undamaged and in good condition. Insurance is $1.70 per $50.00 of the item amount. We have the Postal Insurance Fees chart listed for you below.

 If you do not want to pay for insurance then we will need this in writing.

All of our items are extremely well packaged and we assume no responsibility if breakage or damage occurs and you haven't insured your item. If an item is damaged in shipment and it was insured, contact the Post Office, please DO NOT send it back to us. The Post Office will tell you how to get your money refunded for the insured amount.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

We usually ship UPS Ground or U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail.

The shipping price is based on the Weight of the item in the shipping box with excellent packing and cushioning and the Zip Code area of the country it is being shipped to. If you require faster service Second Day and Next Day Air are available for an additional cost. We will call you back and let you know the additional amount.

For sales out of the United States, we will get the actual cost of postage and insurance if it is available in your country and email you with your charges.

MY STORY
I grew up an only child in a huge four story old house in a town in southern Minnesota. We had a library of over 3,000 books, the house was filled with beautiful old antique furniture, and my Mother collected English Transfer ware, Aqua and Cranberry Fenton Hobnail, Fostoria, Kings Crown, Cosmos Glass, and old Teddy Bears. She was a person who read constantly and always appreciated old lovely things with a history. She taught me to cherish them also. My mother and father went to a lot of auctions when I was growing up and I always went along. Soon I found out how much fun it was to collect something and look for a new treasure to add to my collection. I've always been an avid collector, from Horse Statues, Storybook Dolls, and Little Golden Books when I was very young, to Elvis Presley, Minnesota Twins Baseball, and Country Music Memorabilia when I was a teenager and young woman, to Kennedy and Clinton Political Memorabilia, Carousel Horses, Sandicast Dog Statues, Collector Plates, Old Fashioned Little Girl and Dog Pictures, Capitomonte Woven Baskets, Dolphins, Manatees, Polar Bears, Panda Bears, Loons, Snowy Owls, White Harp Seals, Penguins, Seahorses, and Noah's Ark Statues in my middle years and later years.    So now I have all of my Mother's collections to add to as well as my own.
